Notes: Oh my god, this layout is *so* bad. I apologize to all those who's eyes I scarred when they looked at this POS. ;_; I believe I picked "Ai wa Ryuusei" as the song to use because it was angsty. And angsty was what the picture portrayed to me. So yes. >_< Gomen... Oh yeah, my journal didn't have the name of Sleepless Beauty at this point, so I think it was just "Akiotena's LJ". Yay.

Notes: Yay, Sleepless Beauty's namesake. This picture of Kamui was simply to lucious to pass up... hands groping cute little Kamui... wheeeeee... no, I'm not a lecherous old woman at all, I just can appreciate wonderful art. Yeah, right. ^^; Anyway, "Sleepless Beauty" is my favorite song from Gravitation, sung by Sakuma Ryuuichi! Yay! I thought it aptly described the picture too. I obviously liked the name so much that I stuck with it for my LJ. Go me.

Notes: This was the first layout that looked even half-way decent from my end. I liked how purple it was. ^^ I did this layout the day after reading about FFX in Electronic Gaming Monthly. They had the background picture of Yuna on the front cover, along with several gorgeous pictures inside the magazine with an article about FFX. I hadn't heard anything or seen anything about it other than the fact that the game was due out, so I soaked up the images like a sponge, and was inspired to do that layout. Don't know what the song's got to do with it, but I can't say I honestly care. :P

Notes: I am still very fond of this layout and the way it turned out. I love the colors. Eee. And Hakkai, as we all well know, roxxors my boxxors, so, yes. The song is the second ending song to Saiyuki; I don't think I used it for any other reason. ^_^ ;;;

Notes: Okay, the song and picture have *nothing* to do with each other, just thought the title would be cute. ^^;; I like those little broomstick partitions I handmade for this particular layout. They're kawaaaaiiii... anyway, yes, I realize the layout is robin egg-blue, but hey, it was the color of the sky. The border was fun to hand-pixel. Yay.

Notes: The picture I used in total is a gorgeous picture of Tidus and Yuna, the main characters from Final Fantasy X. "All I Ask of You" is a pretty song, and from what little I knew of the FFX storyline at that point, I thought it worked as a plea to Tidus from Yuna. Or something. At any rate, it's pretty, damnit! XD

Notes: I had wanted to do a layout featuring my favorite anime character of all time, Hashiba Touma (commonly known as Rowen from Ronin Warrriors, the dub). Well, okay, he was my favorite, until Cho Hakkai came along, so I guess they're tied now. :P At any rate, I decided to stick with the color blue from Sleepless Beauty VII, and Touma filled the bill on that one. The patterns I got from origami; I wanted it to look traditional, and I think I pulled it off. The song "Stardust Eyes" is the first opening song to the anime. I think I picked this song out of lack of ideas, but it works. :)

Notes: This was a very *red* layout. Whoo. After seeing the movie, I was "inspired" to do a layout featuring the spandex-clad main character. Eeee. XD~~~~ "Hero" is, of course, the main theme song to Spider-Man, so I *had* to use it. It just worked so perfectly. ^^

Notes: Mmmm... Black, white, and brownish all over. Yaaaaay for sexy Saiyuki boys. :3 I love this picture, the simpleness of it. It's wonderful. And I love Saiyuki. Duh. "More Than This" is a great song from The X-Files: Fight The Future soundtrack. I thought it worked well with the layout, as it seems that the main characters in Saiyuki are always searching for something that is beyond them... maybe it's their own personal nirvana, away from the extreme emotional and physical pain they have been through in their lives... or maybe not. ^^; At any rate, it worked, damnit!

Notes: This was the first layout done on my new laptop (aptly dubbed Auron, of course ^^). I made the layout in honor of both the character and my machine, which though I received it in September, I didn't have Photoshop loaded until the next month. As for "I Stand Alone", Godsmack just rules, and Auron rules too, so it works. :D

Notes: This is my current layout for Sleepless Beauty. I love the song "Bother" (it has quickly become one of my favorite accousical pieces) and I love Auron even more. I would explain more into why I used this song and Auron, but it would spoil FFX, so... let's just say that I thought the song fit the character. ^_^

Notes: This layout and number fifteen were up for so long because I hadn't had my website up and running for half the year. Had quite a few problems with my previous host. Anyway, I had this idea originally stuck in my head for about two weeks before I could find the right picture to use for it. After that, it was easy. This layout went up the day of my site's return to the internet.

Notes: This picture is drawn by the mighty Amano as conceptual art for Yuna's songstress costume--the one that connects the entire story of FFX-2. "Deep Within" is a song about a seductress of sorts, and one of the lines that inspired using this song is "As a songstress you lure me towards the truth." Hence... what you see.
